Olive Tree Cottage

A stunning 1 bedroom granite barn conversion in the beautiful parish of St Mary. Having been finished to a very high standard, it offers most comfortable and elegant accommodation with a traditional feel. It is a perfect base for both a cycling and a walking holiday (walkers having immediate access to the north coast cliff paths) and has a country pub serving good food just across the road.

It is only a short drive to the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Park (formerly Jersey Zoo) and the La Mare Wine Estate and Distillery is just a walk away and both are well worth a visit. Greve de Lecq beach is less than 2 miles away and can be reached in 30-40 minutes along the cliff path heading east, look out for the unusual sheep which graze the headlands here.  http://www.nationaltrust.je/place/mourier-valley/

The property is suitable for up to 3 adults (or 2 adults plus an infant in a cot). It is not suitable for young infants who are mobile as the stairs are open into the first floor bedroom.

This property does not allow pets.

This apartment is adjacent to Fig Tree House which accommodates up to 5 adults, 1 child and 1 infant. Fig Tree House and Olive Tree Cottage can be let together and would be suitable for a party of up to 8 adults, 1 child and 2 infants.

Ground Floor: Kitchen. Lounge/diner with double sofa bed and wood burning stove (initial basket of assorted logs provided). Bathroom with bath/shower, basin and toilet.

First Floor: Stairs opening into double bedroom with king-size bed.

Travel cot and cot linen provided. 

Bed linen, house towels provided. Freeview TV in lounge. Radio. DVD player. CD player. Wi-Fi. Electric cooking with 4 rings, grill and oven. Microwave. Fridge with freezer compartment. Filter cofffee machine & Cafetiere. Hairdryer. Washing machine. Iron and board. House telephone for emergency external calls only. Central heating in season. Separate entrance. Small paved and gravelled patio bordered by potted shrubs, garden table and chairs. Guests are very welcome to relax in the orchard, there is a bench by the pond should you wish to spend more time surrounded by nature.

Car recommended. Parking. Secure covered parking for bicycles.

Welcome pack (tea, coffee, milk, biscuits etc.) on arrival.

Shops 1m. Pub 50yds. St. Helier 5m. Beach 1.5m. Bus: Route 7 is beside the pub.

Saturday changeover.

Check in from 3pm. Check out 10am, unless otherwise arranged.
