Garden Cottage

A detached one bedroom open-plan cottage located in a pretty garden in the eastern Parish of Grouville. The picturesque harbour of La Rocque, on the south east tip of the island, is just a short walk away. There is also a pub which serves food and a farm shop selling fresh produce and bread nearby.

The property is ideally placed for both walking and cycling. It is on a good bus route giving easy access to the Gorey Village and Harbour area which boasts several top class restaurants. This holiday home is finished to a very high standard. Light cooking facilities in the kitchenette. Use of the tennis court by arrangement.

This property does not allow pets.

Ground Floor: Small sitting room with dining table leading to large double bedroom with king-sized bed (which can be made up as a twin) leading to kitchenette with small fridge/freezer and light cooking facilities. Separate shower room with shower, basin and toilet.

Bed linen and house towels provided. Freeview digital flat screen TV in bedroom. Radio. Free Wi-Fi. Electric compact cooker with two hotplates. Microwave. Small fridge/freezer. Cafetiere. Toaster. Hairydryer. Internal step from sitting room to bedroom. Central heating. Iron and board. Separate entrance.

Garden table, chairs and umbrella. Use of owners' tennis court by arrangement - the cottage overlooks the tennis court.

Car recommended. Parking on site.

Welcome pack (tea, coffee, milk etc.) on arrival.

Farm shop 500yds, Pub (serving food) 400yds and beach nearby.

St. Helier 4m. Bus: Jersey Bus Route 1 400yds.

"Being out all day and choosing to eat out some evenings the 'limited' cooking facilities certainly weren't an issue for us. "We have just returned from a very enjoyable holiday and family wedding in Jersey staying at Garden Cottage. The cottage was perfect for us, the owner couldn’t have been more welcoming and the cottage was clean, modern and well equipped, the limited cooking facilities were not a problem and we enjoyed breakfast and some evening meals in the lovely garden. A car was useful for getting around the island although we did take the bus into St Helier which was quick and easy.
