Dairy Cottage

Dairy Cottage is a 3 bedroom cottage recently restored from a barn.  Attached to the owners' home, the cottage is surrounded by extensive and mature gardens which you are invited to enjoy.  

It is a very spacious and well equipped accommodation that has lovely details including a working aga that you can enjoy to cook dinner on or boil the kettle for afternoon tea, or even put the addition of the drying rack on and you can dry your clothes!  

There is an area directly outside the property designated for alfresco dining, and extensive grounds to explore and have a picnic in but they are shared with the family that own the property.  There is a large pond at the bottom of the garden so families with young children must exercise caution.  The owners are offering the use of their unheated outdoor pool (by arrangement)*.  

Children of all ages welcome.

This property does not allow pets.

Saturday changeover.

*Where a property advertises a swimming pool, the use of a swimming pool is, without exception, always entirely at the users' own risk.

3 bedrooms

Ground Floor: Entrance hall with stairs to 1st Floor.  Spacious dining and kitchen area with an oil fired working Aga.  Small utility room with washing machine.  Toilet and basin.  Hallway to lounge.  Single bedroom (without private bathroom facilities).

First Floor: Spacious twin bedroom with ensuite with shower over bath, basin and toilet.  This bedroom could be made up as a double bedroom.

1 double bedroom with ensuite with large shower, basin and toilet.  This bedroom has a wardrobe just outside the room on the main landing.

Whilst children of all ages are welcomed, you will need to bring your own cot/high chair etc. if required or hire locally.

Bed linen and house towels provided. TV in lounge.  Wi-Fi.  Cooking on a traditional oil fired Aga (instruction provided if required).  Fridge. Freezer. Dishwasher. Microwave.  Washing machine. Over Aga Clothes airer. Iron and board.  Electric heating in season.  Picnic blanket, Picnic set and beach towels provided.

Outside seating area and extensive mature gardens.

Check in from 3pm. Check out by 10am
