Thistle Grove Cottage

This beautifully presented 2 bedroom Cottage has recently been converted from a barn and has been tastefully decorated throughout with vaulted ceilings to enhance the feeling of space.  The cottage has its own private entrance and patio and is located just opposite the owners residence.  Ideally located in the heart of the island with easy access to St John's Village with a pub, chemist, shops and café and only a short drive to the north coast headlands.

Car strongly recommended.

This property is happy to accept dogs on request.  Please note that the property has a very low fence surrounding the property.  Additional charge of £100 per dog will apply.

Drawers are within the bedroom but the wardrobe is at the foot of the stairs.

Bed linen, house and beach towels provided. Smart TV. Wi-Fi. Electric Hob - 4 rings. Oven. Fridge and Freezer.  Dishwasher. Toaster. Washing/Drying Machine. Iron & board. Hair dryer. Electric Heating in season.  Patio table and chairs. Cot and high chair available on request.

Separate entrance.
Car recommended. Plenty of off-road Parking.

Welcome pack (tea, coffee, milk etc.) on arrival.

Bus: Liberty Bus Route 5 and 7 to St John's Church (approx 1.4k walk away)

What a gorgeous place to stay! We were so lucky to find this brand new little gem. It’s the perfect combination of a light and airy barn conversion which, with clever use of space, is also warm and cosy in the evenings after enjoying an uninterrupted view of the sunset across open fields. The double is a little oasis of calm while the twin is particularly good for kids, with plenty of den making potential and a fabulous stargazing window. They’ve packed in plenty of facilities so you’ve got room to spread out and we particularly enjoyed the barn doors, which let in the birdsong breeze from the sun trap patio. There’s a hedge veg stall straight across the road and a vibrant farm shop, Scoop, right next door. You’ll get a warm welcome from the hosts and, if you’re keen to say hi, there’ll be an enthusiastic greeting from their two lovely spaniels as well. We stayed at this beautiful cottage Thistle Grove and had a wonderful time. Peaceful surroundings  bird song in the morning and lovely hosts with two friendly dogs. Good location very near to shops. We had a fantastic stay in Thistle Grove Cottage, everything you need and handily located to nearby shops. We have 2 teenagers, would highly recommend The War Tunnels, escape room at the War Tunnels, Roccos golf, Durrell Zoo, Elizabeth Castle and all of the many beautiful bays and beaches.
