Morel Farm - The Bakehouse

This Grade 2 listed traditional bakehouse has been delightfully refurbished throughout and provides a beautiful 1 bedroom cottage that would make a delightful holiday cottage for a couple or a couple with an infant.  Located in the centre of the island, this historically important Farmstead offers all the latest conveniences but in a tranquil country location, ideally placed to explore the island as a whole.

Morel Farm consists of 3 properties.  The main Farmhouse, a Bakehouse and a Chapel, all of which are available as self-catering accommodation.  At the rear of the property is a traditional enclosed courtyard and Pressoir which contains a traditional timber cider press and a Chausey granite apple crusher.

The Bakehouse has its own private patio area and guests have shared use of the walled garden with wildflowers and seating areas.

This property will have a Saturday changeover in 2026.

The bedroom is big enough to accommodate a cot for an infant.

This property does not allow pets.

Smoking is not permitted inside this property.

En-suite bathroom with bath, basin and toilet.  Due to ceiling height the shower needs to be used whilst seated in the bath not standing.

Bed linen and towels provided. Smart TV. Wi-Fi. Electric Induction Hob - 4 rings. Oven. Microwave. Fridge with freezer box.  Toaster. Cafetiere with complimentary freshly ground coffee. Washer/Drier. Iron & board. Hair dryer. Electric Heating in season. Travel cot and highchair available on request.  Bistro style patio table and chairs.  Seperate entrance. Car recommended.  Parking for 1 car.  EV charge points available.

The National trust for Jersey also offers a welcome pack including local ingredients and (tea, coffee, milk, washing up liquid etc.) on arrival.  
The bathrooms and shower rooms are stocked with complimentary toiletries from Bramley whose products are based on essential oils. 
Additional logs available to purchase from a store.

There is not a bus directly to Morel Farm but options including,
Bus Route 7 to Six Roads and then walk on La Rue Rouge Cul to Morel Farm (approx. 13 min walk flat road) 
Bus: Route 8 or Route 28 to Jersey War Tunnels and then walk on Les Charrieres de Malorey to Morel Farm (approx. 19 min walk up hill/flat road).
