The Shells - Oyster

Oyster is one of just two unique floating accommodation pods, known as The Shells, quietly moored in St Helier Marina. This one-of-a-kind stay offers a peaceful, comfortable retreat with lovely marina views—perfect for relaxing, unwinding, and watching the world go by.

For guests who enjoy exploring, Oyster makes an ideal base to discover Jersey’s stunning coastline. Take a charter boat to experience dramatic cliffs, hidden coves, and outlying reefs from the sea, or stay on land and hire an electric bike to follow the coastline at your own pace. Entrance via open plan living room with kitchenette. Sofa bed and armchair, dining table and four chairs.

Bedroom with a king-size bed. There are sliding double doors with privacy glass onto the stern deck.

Shower room with shower, basin and toilet.

Double sliding doors with privacy glass leading onto the fore deck with table and chairs.

*Please note Jersey has large 8 metre tidal movements, the floating pods are designed to rise and fall with the tides.  At low tide the access ramp will be steep, and caution must be taken.  There may also be some wake from passing boats, which could affect people with balance issues.

Bed linen and house towels provided. Smart TV in lounge (Streaming Apps only, own log-in required).  Wi-Fi. Electric 2 ring Hob and Microwave. Fridge with freezer compartment. Toaster. Kettle, Coffee machine. Hair dryer. Solar PV to generate electricity and air-source heat pumps for heating and cooling. Patio table and chairs.  

The sofa bed converts into an additional bed for two extra guests.

Guests needing laundry facilities can use the marina launderette. Please visit the Marina Office for access.

A welcome pack with tea, coffee, and milk is provided on arrival.

Parking Guests receive a parking permit for 1 car, valid in any permit spaces on Albert Pier near The Shells.  

Liberty Bus Station is approximately an eight-minute walk from the property.

Nearby Shops, Restaurants and Cafes

The Shells are ideally located close to the town centre, perfect for exploring local restaurants, bars, culture and shopping.  Guests can enjoy a variety of dining options, from Michelin Star restaurants to popular local pubs.  Booking is recommended for most restaurants.

On the pier, two cafes serve hot drinks, breakfast rolls, sandwiches, hot food, and more.  A convenience store and a local coffee shop are just a five-minute walk away.

Check in is from 3pm. Check out at 11am.
